What exactly is BV and what causes it? My doctor just called saying I tested positive for it. Also, how common is it?

Very common and numerous things can cause it.  They cant really pin point it.

It's bacterial vaginosis. It's an overproduction of good bacteria in your vagina. Very common. Your dr should prescribe something
