Babies and pets

So we have a cat and every morning he gets so excited that we are up and can pay attention to him so he weaves between our legs to rub up on us and he especially does it while I'm walking down the stairs! It scares me enough now that I'm pregnant, but I'm terrified for when I have a baby in my arms! Advice?

We got him some balls with catnip in them and they don't seem to do much.. But thank you ladies

Give him catnip it calms them down, and they like it, you can buy like a pound at petsmart for $5, and you just sprinkle a tbs in his food :) I love my cat, and he just lounges around anyway but my moms cat that I watch is hyper and she brings his catnip when he comes and he calms down enough to just walk around

Same here idk what im going to do once my baby gets here . My cat is always so hyper and jumping around scares me to death to think about how he'll react when baby's here.  I don't want to get rid of him but my bf says I'll have too.
