nervous about 16 week check up tomorrow

i cant believe i have made it this far...last week i was so excited because im pretty certain i felt the baby move...sadly i havent felt it since then...i have been worrying that something is wrong...i use my home doppler but today im having a hard time finding the baby...does it move around that quickly? could my backward tilted uterus make it more difficult? ....anyway ill get a reading of about 146-150 for a few seconds and then its gone...i think thats the baby but im not sure

i can say that the mother's womb sounds like a haunted house...sheesh all the wind blowing noises would scare the crap out of me...

in any event...i find out what im haivng in 2 weeks....i hope that tomorrow goes well and my baby is still ok

hahah yes it does sound like a haunted house

you have no reason to worry, when you got 146-150 that was her/him and then they moved away from the doppler

some days i feel the baby so strong, and other days barely anything at all. don't worry i'm sure your baby is just fine :)

I"m 18 wks 3 days now and I still don't feel movements every day.  If you are picking up the heartbeat then I'm sure everything is fine.  Babys do move around a LOT at this stage they just aren't big enough nor are their bones hard enough for us to feel it that well.  Good luck tomorrow.

Hey I know how you are feeling =) I feel Marley move every once in a while and it gets kinda upsetting when you feel those little movements and then nothing for a few days or so. Our babies are so small that it isn't surprising that they do move a ton (when they did my doppler at the hospital she was moving constantly ((along with the wooshing sounds like water and wind)) they still have plenty of room to move in there but with hearing the 140-150 that is definitely the baby! We both have our anatomy scan on the same day (I know my little one is a girl but it is always nice to make double sure) and I can't wait either!

i wasnt sure about 140-150 because usually it seriously sounds like a galloping horse and i couldnt get the number to stay steady long enough to hear it...i think i have quite the active one in my belly

i think i will naturally worry before every appointment...im thankful for the support i found on here to help get through this

i cant believe im almost 16 weeks....such a miracle sitting inside my belly

Just wanted to wish you luck tomorrow.

Don't worry about not feeling the baby I am 24 weeks along and only started feeling regular movement at about 20 weeks (first baby, I have been pregnant before but had a missed miscarriage understand how you are feeling). Prior to 20 weeks I couldn't even tell if it was a movement or gas?  Now I use the doppler once in a while and my baby kicks it out of the way....lol.

healtherLF16 - thanks....im trying to keep patient but i cant wait for all these feelings

i was able to find the heartbeat this morning...there's no mistaking that gallopping horse...i think i caught the baby sleeping because i was able to hear it for awhile and even my 6 year old son heard it too....very excited about that

waiting for my doc appt now but im not expecting anything too exciting today...just a normal check up....13 more days til i find out the sex of the baby...cant wait
