We are kinda doing same. My shower is same day as hubby bday. We also have a few bdays in sept, so my shower is 2~4, and then a bday cookout right after. All the guys will be outside / downstairs during shower. So it is going to be a long day. Hope I can go all day, I will be 36 Weeks, lol
My friends did that for my showrr it waz great guys watched football downstairs while grilling out amd drinking and us girls party upstairs. =)
I'm doing co ed and at my friend/coworker shower we have more boys invited than girls! O say go for it!
Thank you so much for everyones advice! I was concerned but this made me feel better. :)
I just had my baby shower this past Saturday. It was co ed. And trust games for guys is way mire entertaining! Guy games: all guys must drink beer from baby bottle whoever finishes first is winner (u can color coordinate bottles with gender if u like). All guys feed each other (nasty) gerbers blind folded to there partner (2 winners in this case, u can also color coordinate blind folds to gender). All guys at a count of 3 blow up a balloon tuck underneath shirt and then have to find a way to pop balloon without using hands. You have no idea how many laughs everyone got out of this.
A friend of mine is throwing me a baby shower Sunday and I'm have guys and girls. Its as much my husband's babies as mine.
Co-Ed babyshowers are pretty common these days and you you be surprised to see guys actually get really competitive with the shower games lol
Def not weird my shower is this Saturday and I'm having a co-ed party I even have a game for only the guys to play :)) I have a 2 and a half year old son and a lot of my friends have kids so we decided to have everyone come and rented a big waterslide moonwalk for all the kids and guys to go play on while the girls did the baby shower thing than once it ended I figured the ladies would join in on the fun outside :))
Not weird at all. I never had a baby shower with my son nor will I have one with this pregnancy not because I don't want to but because there's noone to give me on and noone to invite. But if I did I would invite both sexes my boyfriends friends etc make it kind of a get together rather than just a baby shower
I personally dot think its weird! It's suppose to be a joyful celebration....so why not have everyone you want there rather they are guys or girls!
My baby shower is actually going to be a meet and greet/ baby shower! We live 5 hours away from all of our family and friends, so we thought it would be best to just wait until our son was born and have a huge get together and show him off!
