Fear of having a BIG baby

I' have 17 days left till my due date. I'm a Ftm in fear that i will have a big baby. My dr felt down on my belly feeling how big he might be n she said she estimate he will be 8 pounds at birth. Another dr felt down on my stomach feeling my baby & she said I am all baby and he feels huge.
Anybody else fear of having like a 9 or 10 pound baby ??

I'm going to try, but if the pain gets unbearable than I am going to get the epidural. I'm not to sure about the epidural because that scares me to. Having a needle in my back and also having to get a tube in my bladder

They can't guess weight accurately by feel, nor by ultrasound. If you tear during delivery you dobt even know and are stitched before you have feeling. Recovery doesnt really hurt either since you have a foam and/or spray ointment.

I have that fear too. I'm only 5'3 and small my boyfriend is 6'8 and when he was born he was 8 lbs and 1 oz and 21 inches long. So I'm praying she be a little smaller than that

I had a 10 lb 3 oz baby and it wasnt so bad! I'm not a big person either. 5'6" and when I'm not pregnant i weigh 125 lbs. I had him vaginally and without tearing! It was hard getting him out but once he was here we were both ok. There are some pluses to having a big baby - they're usually alot cuter at birth because they already look older. They aren't as fragile as a tiny baby. And you get to tell people how you delivered a massive baby all by yourself lol don't worry too much!
