That look of awe?

Anyone ever notice how when someone close to you feels your baby move for the first time, no matter who it is they all get the same type of awestruck look?

I mean it's always EXACTLY the same! My mom got to feel TJ move for the first time last night at 31w4d and she started crying because she was so happy about it. But the very first bump she got the "look"... the same look that all my friends AND hubby have gotten when they first felt him move... I LOVE IT. :)

Awww, write that down in his baby book! The baby moving is definitely the best part of pregnancy. That is why a lot of women become sad after they give birth. But the sadness quickly fades as Mommy watches her little one grow and change into an amazing person!

oooh i know what you mean!!! df felt saw him kicking, but my grandmother(this is her 1st great grand baby), actually got to feel him, and for the b!tch she can be, she actually GIGGLED!!!!! and it was just sooooo cute! but yea she def got the look, then when he "hit" her again, is when she giggled!!!
he's been moving "hard" for a month now! and i've felt him doing flip flops, but it's mostly in the middle of the night, and sometimes he moves enough i wake up....

diva_lorri, I know, my mom tried to feel him about a dozen times before last night and he'd always stop moving. It was really cool. I think that the only thing I'll miss about being pregnant honestly is feeling him move in there. :)

i love it too. its an amazing look. my poor old nan keeps trying to feel him move but... when he does move (and its usually right under her hand) she doesnt feel it anyway. poor old nan :-)

i think as much as im ready to have him - ill miss the not being pregnant and feeling my baby inside. xx
