No. This is definitely not true.
Nope lol that is not true
If it were, intercourse during pregnancy would not be safe.
Your baby is not only protected by a closed cervix, but also by its amniotic sac.
Lmao really? That be silly .
I'm 38+4 and yesterday my doctor checked my cervix and she could feel the baby's head! Freaked me out lol but no I doubt they could grab your finger
Dont sleep with a black man, baby might think its a tootsie roll in that case, ;)
It depends on baby's position and how dilated and thinned you are. Honestly, if your membranes have ruptured (your water is broken) and baby has a hand up above his head, it's possible. Rare but possible.
I really don't think so. Babies are breech, butt first OR head first by the time the cervix opens, not a little hand sticking down there ready to shake yours! Not to mention, if this were the case, moms would just reach up and get their babies when they were tired of being pregnant. :>)
Its very rare for a babies hand to be up above their head and my sister was one of those rare babies. When she was born she was trying to shake hands with the doctor and they had to do an emergency c-section because of it. So you can't say that they can't shake hands with the doctor
My sister was pregnant with twins, her one water broke and the doc was checking her and she said she felt a hand lol. But It was actually a foot.. One Baby was breech. My sister had a c section after that lol.
Just because hand over head isn't a typical presentation doesn't mean it can't happen. There are a lot of little variables in position and hand over head is one of those. Some Drs/midwives go straight to surgery in an atypical position, others will still try for vaginal delivery.
Forgot to mention the placenta died, that was really the main reason for my mom getting an emergency c-section. Sorry didn't mean to confuse. But im with doulamommy on all this
I guess during birth sure but I'm thinking of someone just reaching ALL the way up and through the cervix on a random day. Hey, never say never but that would definitely be a complication of major sorts if someone wasn't in active labor!
Lol I don't wanna sound stupid. This girl said it happened to her
Hahaha @ some of the comments above. No on any random day your cervix should be closed and baby can not reach out an grab you. During labor, yes I suppose it is possible although rare.
