Baby is measuring 1 week bigger ?

So ladies. With my first child I made it to 39w and gave birth to a healthy 8lb 6oz lil/big girl lol... My labor was has though...... She broke my tailbone during delivery.
She is now 2.
And I'm pregnant again with baby #2. I'm 17W and I had an ultrasound yesterday to find out it's a Lil boy ;) .... However....... He is measuring at 18w... When I found out I was pregnant again I was scared because I definitely remember my labor with my daughter and her being big. So it kind of scares me with this one and because he's measuring a week bigger but they kept my due date the same..... Will I possibly go into labor earlier or maybe be induced if he gets to big ? Cause I had a hard time with my daughter and it just scares me..

He might just be growing fast at the moment or their measurements arent perfectly precise and that could be why they left your due date the same. You could go into labor a week earlier tho, but unless they have serious issues that are life threatening to you or the baby they might just wait and see if your body can handle it since your last one was big as well, towards the end of your pregnancy your dr will ask you about your birthing plan to wich you can ask all the questions you need to. The let me go past my due date by 3 weeks before inducing me and My son measured to be 7.5-8lbs in the final ultrasound but because his heartrate was dropping and I wasnt progressing past 8cm they took him via csection and he weighted 9lb.4oz
