Baby looking like???

I have heard so many times that who ever ur mad at the most or dont like while ur pregnant ur baby will come out looking jus like that person. Wht do you all think about that?  Because I cant stand my mom in-law & I pray my baby girl dont come out looking like her.

I really did not like my ex-mother-in-law & my grandmother always told me of this old wives tale. It's not true though. Just as many old wives tales aren't. I think it was the old way of keeping you relaxed during pregnancy. I have 3 girls & 2 look like me & 1 looks like her dad. I'm sure I wasn't mad at myself 2 of the 3 pregnancies. lol

The baby's dominant trait gentics determine how it will look; no other superstitious factors come into play. If you think about it, if you're permanently tied to someone you're unhappy with for whatever reason through a child, you will see physical sometimes personality traits show in that child, and they will especially stand out to you because it's something that bugs you about someone you don't like--but that does not mean that the child is that person's character clone. Each human being is unique, despite their genetic make-up.
My oldest son favors me more than my ex, whom I can't stand, and I favor my father. My father...was...a good-looking guy in his day. In fact, my son looks like his identical twin in pictures of the two of them placed side by side at the same ages and it's really creepy/funny. My son hardly looks anything like his biological father...BUT, to be honest, I see little things every single day in my son that remind me of my ex, from certain facial expressions to how he'll stand in a certain posture to sometimes just looking exactly like his father at a certain angle. But I don't let that bother me one bit--he is my child and there is no way I can't love him.
My youngest son literally IS is father's clone (different father than my oldest; this is my husband). I mean, for as much as my oldest looks like my dad's identical twin, my youngest son looks like his own father's identical twin. The only evidence of me in that boy is that he has my brown eyes and my mother's wavy hair, and that is it. Everything else from physical appearance right down to personality quirks...is JUST like his father. They even stand the same way, with most weight shifted on one leg with the other leg held up supported on the ball of the foot or big toe. Their EARS are even carbon copy shaped of each other's, lol. They are seriously like big/little mirror images of each other, it's hilarious. But that's okay because I adore my husband, lol. However, I'm not too terribly fond of my MIL--and my husband really favors his mother quite a bit--so in that way, my youngest son also looks a lot like my MIL.
My point is, things will only bother you if you let them. It's how you choose to see it. The most important thing to keep in mind is that your child, no matter who they look like, cannot be assigned a personality that will never belong to them just because they look like a person who gets on your last nerve (and trust me, my oldest son's bio dad and my MIL...they can get on my last nerve with almost no effort, lol).

I know my sister's husband doesn't like me and her first child came out looking exactly like me. Lol. The resemblance was so uncanny that my sister would catch herself calling her daughter by my name and he husband would fly into a rage. He couldn't believe his luck. Lmao
