Need some help
Im 40 weeks today. No sign of labor ):
My babys been in position, my cervix is thin but not really dilating. Im getting induced Wednesday at 6 p.m. BUT right now my mother in law told my bf that I should go to the hospital already since in 40 weeks & its bad that the babys in there long since shes in position. Im really confused because they said liquids can go into the baby & suffocate her? I trust my doctor but now this has me worried. Should I wait till Wednesday or go today?

I would go in Wednesday when they have you scheduled. It's totally normal to go over 40 weeks. Your doctor knows your due date and scheduled it a few days after so if there was a problem with you going over I'm sure he wouldn't hve done that. As long as you feel fine I would wait. I had my son at 42 weeks and he was perfectly healthy. If you go there with no problems and say its just cuz you're 40 weeks they're probably going to send you home and say wait til your scheduled induction on Wednesday.
