Today I got to find out am having a babygirl(: I was so happy and exicted but all those emotions went out the window, when I saw my husband and his moms face I wanted to punch both of there faces the whole time we were there they were juss so negative , has anyone had all this emotions this is my first I dont kno if its my hormones o what but am annoyed

My partner wanted a boy. Didnt help that I kept saying I thought it was a boy. Didnt bother me either sex. He was over the moon and his face lit up in the scan room. Then the second we walked out he just went in this feral rude f**k head mood. I had to go straight to work after it so then I was upset. Then get home to find him not there and out at the pub drunk as. So I left him in town for the night and wouldnt pick him up. I was so angry and upset. Im 32 Weeks now and hes gonna be one proud daddy :) Hes happy as now. Although deep down I think he would still love a boy. Guys just take things and handle them differently. I hope he comes round for you. Its not like we can choose the sex. Lol.

I think most guys secretly want boys...that said, it's daughters who melt their hearts, and baby girls who wrap their daddies around their fingers. He'll adjust, and one day say he wanted a girl all along. If I were you, I'd definitely ban your mother-in-law from all future appointments. What a sourpuss.

Congrats:)) I have 2 girls and a boy on the way. My hubby wanted a boy soo bad w our 2nd pregnancy but she was a girl and let me tell ya..tht is his whole world right there:)) like buggie said he will come around..jst give it time:)

HOW RUDE!! Its simple...ban your MIL from any future appts...she doesnt need to be there!! As far as your hubby goes...he'll get over it. We have a two year old little girl and have another one on the way. My hubby wanted a boy both times...let me just tell you how our little girl melts his heart...the way they look at each other is amazing...

He will come around...dont let him bring you down :) Congrats on your baby girl!!

I was so afraid of this bc my husband did not want a girl at all. When the lady told me my baby was a girl I looked.over at him and he was really quiet, before the sono was over he was excited. Idk what switch flipped in his head but something changed him. His mom said and I quote " well the baby must have taken your genes " I said y do u say that she said bc u have all the girls in ur fam I said well hubby was the one yo determine the sex she said "my well he screwed that up" I was soooo mad! But.I.just kept telling my hubby that she is going to be his little princess and that its going to be so cute seeing him with her. And that he is going to spoil her. I say just point out the pros of having a girl! He will soon get over it!

Did they not want a girl? Could they not understand what the ultrasound was showing? How were they negative?
