Baby shower

So I'm having a girl.
My colors are turquoise yellow and pink.

A friend of mines told me that was turquoise and yellow are for boys..I'm just not a huge fan of pink and wanted to add something too it.

My questions is should I change my colors ? I don't want people thinking its a boy with the turquoise...

YAY :) good ! Hope you have an amazing baby shower. I didn't listen to what any of my friends or family had to say. I stuck with my idea and I absolutely loved it. It was just how I wanted it. Cute and different.  Good luck momma. Enjoy your special day because it's all about you and your princess

Lol sorry to say but f your friend. its YOUR baby shower! lol she probably those type of people who like the pain baby shower colors. I had a lot of friends who didn't like my idea but I didn't care what they said because It was MY day and I wanted it to do it MY way not anyone else's.  It was hard finding royal blue and gold but it didn't give up. Aha i love your idea. You should stick with that plan regardless of what anyone thinks :) that will forever be a memory you will always remember so make it any way you want. But you can make those colors work, it'll be such a cute different baby shower. I like different.  The same pink and baby blue is so ugly to me. Aha

I just had mine two days ago and my colors were purple, light pink, dark pink and white. . . but honestly no one really.goes to a baby shower and says "oh the decorations are for a boy/girl" especially if they know ahead of time what you're having. Good luck!!!

That's the pink I have. And I told her that and she just didn't think it was such a bright idea

Yes. I didn't want all that pink. Too me its too much. And then this is my first time planning a baby shower.

A bright pink would be cuter than light pink though :) so it can stand out more than the yellow and turquoise so they for sure won't think it's a boy.

Sounds cute !!!! Before I found out what I had i wanted to do turquoise and purple for a girl. Aha but instead since I'm having a boy I did royal blue and gold. Pink and baby blue is so annoying ! Your colors would be so cute though
