Baby's head is flopping forward and sideways in her carseat~ how can we avoid that?

i tried to reposition her a million times, i even put the seat to the lowest setting of the car seat , and her head is flopping constantly!!!!

we bought the best brand (i think its graco), and it seems like its not working out for us?? are we doing something wrong??

is it the seat, or us the way we put her in her seat?

she is a month, and weighs 10 lbs , is she still too small???

If I remember correctly, the Graco base needs to be at the highest setting. Like the little tabs that click need to be all the way at the top. Get the head positioner...they work nicely and you can get them for $6.99 at places like walmart, tjmaxx, ross, etc.

In one of our cars we had to roll up a bath towel and push it down into the crack of the seat to get the base to lean up a little more. Are you using the latch system? That's the best thing to use because you can get the base in there super tight. Some people have cut a pool noodle or they even sell a black foam tube that can be used for the same purpose. Good luck :)

I agree with star-girl. Just remember that you should sit back there with her if you do that in case it moves and blocks her breathing! They also sell something to keep baby's head in place while driving. Let me go find a link for one.

Roll up receiving blankets and stuff them on the sides of her head.  Thats what my sister did with my niece and it seemed to work.  I have a few in the car already so that when we bring him home that i have them to stuff by his head.
