Babyshower ideas

Anyone have any ideas for homemade decorations? Trying to keep mine simple since my hubbys family is going over the top with their bbyshower for me (not my idea) I'm having a boy. I seen this one idea on pintrest one jars with little ties on them.

Also need ideas for games.

Deciding wether I want to have a friend Dj ahah would that be too much? Its gonna be a tradional mexican shower with pozole and beer hahaha.

Babylove omggg imma have a bunch of drunken fools at my baby shower those are all cute games! And love the cookie idea!! All these ideas make me exciteddd. Someone toldme a dj would take away from the activites but im sure if i have a scheudal i can make it work

I saw taking 2 shades of blue balloons and putting thing on a string and hanging them up like a pattern same with polka dots.

You could take brown paper bags and paint blue polka dots on them,  fill them up with cookies for the guests and tie the bags at the top with blue ribbon. It'll be a decoration but also party favors for the guests.  

Games wise,  fill baby bottles with a liquid of your choice(beer would be fun) and see which guest can chug the drink out of the bottle the fastest.
There's lots of baby shower games on google :)
I say if you want a DJ, then have one! I think that would be an awesome baby shower!

For a games you can put melted chocolate in baby diapers and have people guess what kind of candy it is.. You can do like a quiz and put most needed things for baby or something and who ever gets the closest to your answers wins the prize. You can also get some clothes pins and whoever says the word baby has to give the person who caught them their pin and whoever has the most wins :) or you can get some string and have everyone guess how big they think your belly is and whoever gets the closest wins a prize :))

Lmaoo! My sisters wanted a DJ but im not having it lol. I was pozole to but even though we are a bunch of mexicans a lot of my family doesnt want that and it gives me heart burn. Im still debating on to have beer at mine. My cousins get rude when their drunk lol

I painted mason jars pink and put white flowers on them. Maybe u can do baby blue and I put christmas lights very simple.
