Baking Soda Test

Has anyone tried the baking soda gender test? I tried it when I was about 14 weeks pregnant with my daughter, and it didn't fizz at all. I am now 6 weeks pregnant again and tried already a couple times and it fizzes a little bit. Has anyone else tried it this early and it was accurat?

I never heard of this but im excited to try! Im only 8 weeks so i want to wait but i really want a boy, but for some strange reason i keep referring to my baby as a girl!

Lol I don't care if its true or not . It was fun to do and mine fizzed a hell of a lot lol. So now I'll just have to be patient and pray for the best. Can't wait to see my doc

I think they just wanted to do it for fun. And if they want to take the results to heart before an ultrasound and go out and buy all blue or all pink then let em lol

It's not being a party pooper for being realistic.  She said she wanted a biy, I said it is still a possibility.    There is nothing wrong with that :)

Well it doesn't matter if it fizzes or not, it doesn't mean you're not having a boy just cause it doesn't fizz.  The fizziness is just a chemical reaction, not a gender revelation x

I did it and it said girl and I'm indeed having a little girl!! Even if its not accurate its fun to do :)

Mine was wrong. It was supposed to be a girl according to this but he's a boy :)

I usually just ask my Grama what I'm having lol back when my cousin was like 15 she read her cards and all that stuff and told my cousin she would have 2 boys by a man she went to high school w and he was from Arizona and she would move out there with him one day. In her 20s when she got preg w her first drs and ultrasound kept saying girl so they went all out and got girl stuff whole time grama kept telling her a boy. sure enough when baby came it was a boy and all the other stuff came true. My Grama predicted my first two right. I know it's not accurate but it's still fun to have her guess and see if she is right lol :)

Lol I want to surprise my hubby but he talking about how bout when we get the ultrasound done I tell them not to tell you and I surprise you lol that's not going to happen I'm to anxious to find out.....did you have a csection?

Lol I had no idea what I was having, some days I thought girl, others I thought boy, but it didn;t matter to me what I was having as long as he / she was healthy.    When born, the Consultant lifted him up over the curtain to show me (EMLUSCS) and opened his legs and said its a boy lol x

I tried it when i was about 10 weeks nd there was no fizz but turns out im havin a boy so it was wrong for me...good luck hun

Well I believe in it.. it was right with my first pregnancy and I have never heard anyone that did it and it be wrong. I'm sure it can be wrong, but I believe in it.

@mommabear I'm glad you said that bcuz I just did the baking soda thing and no fizz and I want my first born to be a boy I find out aug.10 can't wait but whatever it may be I just want a healthy baby.....what are you having?

These tests have a 50%
chance of being right cause you only have a boy or girl. No amount of peeing into baking soda or bleach is gonna tell you what you are having. All you are doing is causing a chemical reaction caused by the pH Level of your urine. Its never an actual vest to determine the sex of your baby.
