Libbyz, that was as same as me! Belive me when I say I had to do stuff wich I couldnt think of just so the stool to come out. BUT when I startet with oliv oil down there just take a lot and rub it in the butt opning(sorry for the ditale), and 1 cm inside and belive me It worked!! After 1 month of doing that my hemorroide went away slowly!
Libbyz, tryy it out belive me its worth it!
@libbyz have you tried prune juice or cranberry juice and fiber bars
My daughter is 7 week's and I have issues with going poop. Its like popping razor blades. It takes my breath a way. I take stool: softners. They don't seem to help. God I wouldn't wish that on anybody it is horrible
Alexhelton95 oh my goodness I'm so sorry hope you get better soon sounds very painful
I am 6 days post partum and I ball my eyes out really bad every time since delivery. My boyfriend is always like are you okay? ? Lol and I'm like noo I'm dying! I have A LOT of stitches on the inside and tore pretty far back almost like right next to my butthole. I take stool softeners so it's not that bad but I also have hemorrhoids pretty bad. But I really don't mind it because it's SOOOOO worth it
Missi8 thanks for those tips I'm will definitely starting doing that and @AMDG thanks for those tips as well being new to this I'll take all the advice I can get
I was super afraid of the pain of going after labor but it actually barely hurt me! I tore really badly and even peeing twice before I got stitched up didn't really hurt, just a tad of stinging. I just leaned way forward. I was also way afraid of going number two with a ton of stitches in me but I took chlorophyll, probiotics, and fiber and ate a huge apple every day and when I went it was totally painless. I didn't read ask the above comments but there is hope for it to not hurt! :-)
Niqueniq, U can try to prevent tearing by massaging down in ur vaginal opning with almond oil. Thats what most midwifes recommend to prevent tears. U start the massage around week 35 and do it every day. The oil will help the skin get moisture and get more elastic.also they say waterbirth help agains tear to...ask Ur doc what U can use agains it.
This is my second pregg, and I wish somebody told me more about these things..thats why I feel I should at least informe many about it. For me tearing, stiches and hemorroids was the worst!
I hope I doesn't hurt to bad that's what's really getting to me and I'm worried about tearing :/
Missi8 it means first time mom
It's different for every one when I had my daughter it didn't burn or hurt when I went to the restroom
And was woundering what thos FTM mean??
Its more likly to hurt if u have thorne much...I did and it was painful to pee for around 5 days and I mean painful like crying screaming painful.
What U have to watch for is if U get hemorrodes...THAT IS PAINFUL. Hemorroide is cased because of ur muscles etc(read aboit it). I got that to, after i delivered 3 weeks later my hemorroide came and I felt like I was giving born again but without anything coming out. My stool was hard...nobody told me about that..but I am ok now. After 6 month of the delivery and by putting olive oil down there before I had to pass my stoole everytime I was much better.
So girls watchout for hemorroides, read about it and ask ur doc about this!!
My friend had big boys and both times tore the hospital had her run a warm bath and do her 1st wee whilst sitting in it. Apparently that feels good lol
Oh and I didn't have stitches and it still hurt really bad when I peed
It didn't hurt when I did either because I had dermaplast that I sprayed before going to the bathroom. It works wonders
Hecks No! That'll put fear in first time mother.
Omg thank you ladies for letting me know I will definitely ask for those things if they don't give them!
I remember when I peed it felt like I was peeing boiling hot water! It burned really bad! I was severely constipated with my first born so I was healed before that happened so it didn't hurt really!
An yes they give you ice packs! My hospital gave me a huge bag of pads and ice packs and cleaning spray! It was awesome that they provided all of that! That's why I'm giving birth at glenwood again! Such a great experience
If they didn't give you a squirt bottle ask for one. When you have to pee get hot water and squeeze it down there it helps when you have to go. It didn't burn for me I was scared to go number 2 I didn't go for a week. But I took some stool softners and it helped. It didn't hurt. Also ask for the spray for burning it helps alot!!! I sprayed my private area till it healed.
They should give you a special water bottle to squirt on yourself when you pee (it really helps) and stool softeners for the poo. It stings (I tore during labor and had 6 stitches -daughters head was BIG -so the first time was painful for me) but it's only uncomfortable for a couple days. I hear they even give you ice packs at some hospitals now.
It's really when you have a bowel movement thats why after delivery they prescribe stool softners for you to take before you have a bowel movement & it really helps... It only hurts when u Pee if you had to have stitches down there !
I used to hear my aunt cry when she would go to the bathroom. I could just imagine the pain. I'm not ready for that!
