Beauty taken away??

Is it true that girls take your beauty away? I'm a ftm and I'm expecting a baby girl, but lately I've been braking out and I feel really nasty, my face looks rounder and I just don't even feel like putting on make up BC of the pimples :/ and my hair has been getting really dry but I don't know if pregnancy has to do with that.., any one else going through this ?

It's an old wives tale that girls steal your beauty, however with that being said it's correct for me. I have always had very clear skin, even as a teenager I've never had a breakout of anything (very rarely I'd get like 1 pimple pop up somewhere but that's it). I was doing great this pregnancy too, in the beginning everyone was telling me how great I look and that I'm glowing. My hair is super thick and shiny but as of 30 weeks my face (it seems like overnight) has just turned into a big red splotch! No amount of face washing or masks is helping, and I don't sleep with makeup on. Especially now I can't since I pretty much have to use concealer as my foundation and even with a primer it still doesn't cover everything. I'm just hoping after baby my skin goes back to how it was.

I'm having a girl and I'm 32 weeks pregnant and I hav got zero pimples this whole time and my hair an nails are better than ever ! Try washing your face and making sure you sleep with no make up on what so ever maybe a face mask a week I do it just for relaxation but it all helps out!

Its an old wives tale. I'm on my second boy my first my face actually cleared up and looked amazing. Now with this boy I have acne, oily and blotchy skin. All pregnancies are different.
