Bed rest and scared!!!!!!

My doctor told me a test they run for preterm labor came back positive.  I'm always contracting like crazy.  They want me to be on bed rest now. I'm 32 weeks.  Has anyone delivered that early?  I'm freaking out.

What made them decide to test for preterm labor? Is it something you asked for? Because lately about once or twice a day I've been feeling a contracting feeling and I'm 31 weeks.

I delivered that early and my son was 5 lbs even and only had to spend 16 days in the NICU! Very possible your little one could be as healthy as he was! Good luck!

Was it an easier labor and delivery because your baby was smaller?

I had my daughter at 34 weeks and she had to spend 2 weeks in the nicu! Hopefully you'll make it a few more weeks!

I've had this test done since I was 28 weeks because I've  been contacting and had some bleeding. It's called a fetal fibronectin test.  And now it came back positive so they had me get steroids for the baby's lungs.

If it make you worry less both of my sister's had their baby's at 27 week's and the baby's were each a 1lb. They spent a few month's in the nicu but they are both healthy! So 32 week's isn't bad. I hope baby can't wait a few more weeks!

My sister had my neice at 27 weeks she is now a healthy two year old! Don't stress it mama!

I had the same test at 33w and it was positive, so I was put on bed rest and I am now 36w just on pelvic rest. Just do what you are told and try not to stress :)
