I found out i was pregnant just as i turned 19, lived with my parents, had been with my partner 3 and a half years, he lived with us, i was so scared i cried telling her and she couldnt get why i was so scared to tell her. This time, im 21, with the same guy, living together in our own place and expecting again, i was more scared to tell her this time than last time. Again she was over the moon crying with excitement, even my dad was thrilled both times. Your parents will understand im sure, again im sure this depends on your relationship, but they love you and want the best for you.

I had my son when I was 20, and extremely terrified to tell my parents.  I had ran across country after high school and felt a little ashamed.  I wrote everyone letters and didn't tell my dad will I was well into 20weekz.  They weren't mad,  just disappointed because they love me and wanted me to have a certain path. I ended up being a single mom from get go with him. Now that I'm 24, been with the same person for years I'm 23weeks with my second and I can tell you that the nerves don't go away with a family that has such high expectations. But thing you have to realize is it doesn't matter as long as you are happy and you have sat and thought through all the details and are as much prepared as you can be.  Even if they are disappointed,  eventually after the baby is born they will be so in love with it,  they will come around with you.  And if not,  it's their loss.  Good luck :)

Im 20 and married and 10 weeks pregnant - only my husband knows but I am also really scared to tell my mom as she always said no babies until Im 25 and shes super strict about it - even made me go on the pill etc. Im planning on saying something at Christmas luckily my husband is over the moon so no matter what I know he will always be there which is what matters so I guess stay positive about it and fingers crossed...

Are you still living with your parents?

I was 17 when I got pregnant with my first.  I was a senior in high school.  It was very scary but when I told my mom that I needed to talk to her, she immediately suspected and point blank asked me before I could tell her.  It was hard on my parents kind of...especially my dad I am sure but they were supportive.  It all turned out ok and it will for you too.  They love you and will love your baby.  I don't know what your relationship is with your parents but I would talk to your mom first and then maybe she can break it to your dad.
