due soon!

I'm due in 9 days & I have a strong feeling I'm going to go overdue :/ I'm a ftm so I know its normal,  but he hasn't dropped, I haven't lost my mucus plug & I'm not dialated yet. anyone have a similar experience & have a miracle happen overnight? I know he'll come when ready, but its hard to keep the excitement inside!

Thank you girls! I'm keeping my positive smile on:) I've felt contractions or what I thought were contractions, but they always go away:/ hopefully the babies dont make us wait too long:)

Im expecting my third and have everything bar a show and regular contractions but i feel im being teased as i have 12 days left lol with my first i had nothing and at 39+3 we done some shopping and daughter was born in the early hours of next morning. With my second i had false labour from 36 weeks but nothing. Had a membrane sweep on my due date and son was born 40+2. The worst thing about labour is not knowing if its starting or when it will happen, but it does add to the excitement of things :) with first babies the cervix usually effaces first before dilation. Only sure way of knowing is regular contractions that grow stronger. It will come :)

Awww I'm sorry hun! I know that's hard to be so close and have nothing happening! I didn't get any luck lol, but my sis in law did! She was exactly one week from her due date and had nothing going on at all. The next morning, (6 days before due date) she was in the shower which was hotter than normal and her water broke! Crazy!! Hopefully you'll get some crazy miracle too!
