Does anyone have a birth plan? Is it a good idea?

I am birthing in a hospital and it'll be just my boyfriend in the room with me. I will be getting epidural because I have a very low tolerance for pain and unsure of how I'll react to it. They told me the epidural will keep me calm because I will not feel much.

Im doing mine this week! Some of the things... no IV unless is necesary, no constant fetal monitor unless is necesary, I want to walk and move, no epidural, I want to eat and drink, I want to breastfeed right after delivery and I don't want them to cut the umbilical cord until the placenta is out or until the umbilical cord is pale and without a beat. ... I will cause some nurses a headache if they want to do what they want... :)

I have a small one listing the name of my son, don't offer me medicine, circumcision for my son, I'll be breastfeeding, etc. It's just whatever you want for that day! :)

No but I need to work on one today!  It's a VERY good idea! That way the nurses and Dr can be aware of your wishes
