Dilating Question.

Possible TMI, sorry.

Lately I feel like my vagina is being opened from the inside, like, literally being pried open. It doesn't necessarily hurt, just pretty uncomfortable and very weird. There's also been some strange sharp pains, as well. It hurts to walk and roll over, which I'm pretty sure has to do with how low baby is but I'm wondering what in the hell is going on here? Lol.

Can you feel your cervix dilate? Is that even possible? Or is this little one trying to claw his way out? Lol. I never felt anything like this with my oldest son, so I am in completely new territory here.

Anyone else feeling the same? Please tell me I'm not alone here/:

Apparently I'm crazy and it's just the baby moving down lower and starting to engage. Lol. Also, the nurse and doctor said you can't actually feel yourself dilating.

I'm 37 weeks and a few days, I actually have a doctor's appointment today but it's a bit odd to explain to someone else so I'm not sure if I'll be asking or if I'll just get over my embarrassment and ask. Lmao. If I find anything out I'll update and let you all know!

I feel the exact same way, as a matter of fact I'm feeling it as I type! However I'm not sure if it's the feeling of dilation but I know I am 3cm dilated currently! I'm also 39wks 1day
