I want a water birth as well, once babes decides to make an appearace (8 days overdue and counting) but it depends on whether the birthing pool is available, there are only two pools for a 16 bed labour ward, so I'm hoping its available. My midwife said they do it at body temp (37.5 degrees) over here in the UK, and its meant to help a little.....I want as natural a birth as I possibly can, but I ain;t ruling anything out hahaha x
Well we pay medicare through tax we pay each week. But it seems free lol.
I think il see how i go in labor when it all happens :)
how are you ladies giving birth?
Yeah, here in the good ol U.S. of A you get NOTHING free...
Apparently whrn having a water birth its not boiling hot but its hot enough to ease the pains a little bit.. i want a water birth but if i have the epidual that wont be possible. Here i australia we are lucky to have medicare making all public hospitals free to us.
You have to pay for a midwife? ..where do you live? Im in australia and everything is free..
I wanted to do a water birth but couldn't afford a midwife :( most obgyns won't do them because of the risks. The hospital I'll be at will let me labor in the tub but I'm not actually allowed to have her in there. They'll make me het out at a certain point
