Opinions needed ladies!!!

Hello ladies!

It's been awhile since I've posted!

But I'm in MUCH need of everyone's opinion!    I'm currently 32 weeks, 3 days pregnant.   We have scheduled the c-section for August 7th!   (The countdown is ON!!)   Both my husband and I agree that this is our last baby. We already have 3 - our oldest is almost 5, our daughter is about 3.5, and our (current) youngest is going to be 2.  I need everyone's opinion on sterilization method...

Several people wonder why my hubby doesn't get the "snip,"  but I'm the one that WANTS to the tubal done.   Well, after talking with my doctor, I'm still confused as to what procedure I should get done.  My doctor said that since I'm getting a c-section, that I get 2 titanium clamps put on my tubes, since they're "in there" anyway - yet it's not her recommended method.  She prefers to do the essure - where they put a flexible micro-insert in your fallopian tube and scar tissue forms around it.  For convenience sake, it probably would be better for them to do the titanium clamps, but the essure is slightly more effective, but requires more doctor office visits, which I'm not 100% sure I'm up for.

I DO NOT want any accidental pregnancies,  my body can't handle being pregnant anymore.

What does everyone think??   Any input is MUCH appriciated!!!

Hmm, that's a good question.   But they normally put it in as if you were getting and IUD in - except it's in your fallopian tubes.

Why can't they put in the essure during your c-section?
