when does the babies heart start to beat? is it this week or is it between 4-6th week.

The heart starts to beat extremely early, it's just not visible for some time. Generally it starts to beat around week 5, which makes the baby around 3 weeks. It is usually not visible until week 6 or so, sometimes later. I saw my daughters heartbeat at 7 weeks 3 days by vaginal ultrasound, but did not hear it until 16 weeks by doppler.

the heartbeat actually starts approximately 14-18 days after conception, but you will be able to pick it up on a sensitive ultrasound at about 6/7wks. However if your dates are off by even a few days, sometimes you will not see the heartbeat until a week or two later...it simply would not be big enough for the ultrasound to measure yet, but it might be there.

I think its about 9 weeks cuz I know when I went to er for problems I was 4 weeks and no heart beat and they said it normally comes around 9 weeks

Normally around six and a half week it starts but if it is 7-8 weeks even then it is ok.
