Last night when i wiped my stitches with alcohol wipes there was just a needle dot type blood on the wipe. My husband saw there is a minute opening like needle dot for this as well.i have my appointment with my dr on wednessday  hope for the best.:)

You should have stitches on the outside and inside the tape that's on the outside is suppose to come off by itself as you shower.... Mine did bleed a little after my c section and one side started to lump up didnt hurt or anything just started to lump up and bleed went back to ER and the had to push the blood out where it was starting to build up on one side now that did hurt for a few mins but I never had to get any restitching  and the gave me some cream to help with the healing. I also found it better to but a pad like the one u use for your period across the stitches it keeps more pressure and it doesn't need to be changed as often as the gauge pads! Hopes this helps

How do you see your stitches? They should be internal and you should have had steri strips put on the outside. I've had two c secs and never had a problem

Steri strips. I'm surprised they didn't put them on after the c section!

They might if its a severe opening.. call them hun they know what's best. It might not even be open and be completely normal, was just giving you my guess.

Nope not at all! They're basically tape that will eventually fall off on their own or your ob will pull them off after some time

@shwllyLette what are butterfly stitches? Are they painful?

It sounds like it may still be open a bit, you should call your Dr. They may want you to come in so they can put butterfly stitches on it.
