Bottle feeding/breast feeding?

So I have family coming from out of the state that want to take me shopping for baby on friday, I just had a c section a week ago. But I wanted to leave baby with dad while we shop because he eats so often yet (I'm breast feeding) I'm just curious if you think a bottle or two will cause him to stop latching? I haven't been able to leave the house or drive because of the pain meds so it'll be nice to get out for an hour or two. I guess if he does stop latching I won't mind just pumping exclusively but I love the bonding time.

If she has successfully  taken a bottle before then you could be okay if you pump, but if she hasn't there is a good chance she will refuse it, I got  lucky with my first she was such am easy baby, she took bottle or breast and never had any kind of nipple confusion

I tried to go to my work Christmas party with my first when she was 3 months. I was exclusively nursing and i pumped and left a bottle with Grandma.  She would not take it at all!  I had to come home early from the party. I had tried unsucessfully myself to give her a bottle and people said if i was around to smell my milk and she was hungry enough she would take it.  She did not!  All babies are different though and your little gut is mych younger so he may take a bottle and then relatch.  Good luck.

My son had a bit of nipple confusion but now that hes 2 months i can do both bottle or breast. I work with nurses and they told me if baby is hungry enough theyll latch. Try the bottle for an outting ...I suggest you go out and enjoy yourself. We all need a break!
