bleeding a week earlier than due after unprotected sex. Preg???

Hello,

I had unprotected sex April4-11.  We were not trying to get preg.  But not not trying either.  Today (4/22)  I noticed lite brown/pink spotting when I wiped.  Several days ago, I was having pains in my lower side, more intense than ovulation pains.  (I literally couldn't move and they took my breath away)  They didn't last for long and stopped 3/4 days ago.  My period is not due for another week.

My question is:- Is it just an early period or could it be implantation pains/ bleeding?

I would be happy either way, I've been being pushed by family to have a baby for a while and kind of disappointed if just regular period,  but That is my question.

Thank you to all in advance for their advice.

It could be either or.  Wait ten days after possible conception and use an accurate test (FR like Joy recommends) with first morning urine.  If its negative, repeat a week later.  If the result is still negative, you are not pregnant.

Not sure but a pregnancy test will be accurate when your period is due. I recommend First Response.
