baby name confusion

So this is my 2nd pregnancy.  I have had my girl name picked out since my 1st baby which was a boy. And when I found out I was pregnant again I talked my fiances brother out of naming their lil girl the name I always had picked out. Now my fiances x wife named their new puppy my girl name (her not knowing so I cant be mad at her or anything, which im not) but now I feel like I should change it. Is it stupid for me to want to change the name instead of naming my daughter after my son to be step son and his x wifes dog??? My fiance doesnt see the big deal out of it, so maybe its not? Advice..

No I dont want that at all. And every one is calling me stupid bc i talked his brother and his gf into looking into other names (even tho she only got the name bc of me) my soon to be step son is only 4 he will confuse them all the time. And even though me and his x get along now im sure shell have snotty comments about it. I found another name I like alot I just want people to understand where im coming from about it, but only my mom and grandma steve and his family and my best friend think im stupid If I change it
