Breast feeding in public

I know a lot Of people are against it but I personally don't care. As long as your not making a big deal about it and not making a scene because your breast feeding in public then go on and do it! But the other day I was at the mall with my mother in law and sister in law and we were walking around this store. Everything fine were talking looking at clothes and there is a lady breast feeding. Well her baby unlatched and she said "awe your all done sweetie.... You must still be hungry but I'll leave it right here if you want more" the. She just left her boob out of her shirt walking around the store.... That I think is wrong don't do that..... That just gives breast feeding a bad name I think... Or am I just crazy? Even Lori and Desaree were grossed out about it. Saying they know I will be breast feeding which is awesome just please don't ever do that...

I dont see anything wrong with discreetly feeding your child in a public setting. I dont feel women should be shunned to a public rr to feed their child. However like any other social setting, ettiquite should be observed. Cover should be worn, and if theres a more private setting available, take advantage of it. At home, who cares its the privacy of your own home and nothing to be ashamed of. And i do agree with covering when you have company over...it all comes down to ettiquete.

Couldnt have said it better myself @surprisedashell  lol. I think its so rude of people to do it in public. I mean i personally dont mind it its just why would u want everyone to watch.u? Is it an attention thing? U cant go somewhere in private or wouldnt want to? I mean i understand.at ur house n maybe infront of friends n fam if they r ok with that but infront of strangers? Rude in my opinion

I don't care if you breast feed in public, I'm sure I will too, but I'll be covered up. What got me was her just leaving her breast out when she was done and not covering up. That is not great feeding that is you leaving your boob out for the world to see. If she would have covered up it would have been a totally different story. I just don't feel it was right to just keep it out when the baby wasn't feeding. If the baby were to get hungry again then feed more but to just leave it out and wait for them to feed again while you walk around a store I don't feel is right...

I think that yeah she was wrong for leaving her breast out and not covering it in public! Second i have a bff and when i am at her house and she just pulls it out i am fine with it because it is her house and we are both comfortable around each other she is like my sister! If we are in public she keeps covered the hole time! When my boyfriend is there with me she covers out of respect for him and me! I have had kids before and breast fed all of them and will breast feed this one to! I never covered myself when i am at my house! Its my house! My kids know it is me just feeding my child there sibbling! Nothing sexual at all! I shouldnt have to cover up in my own home if i dont want to! I am respectful and will cover if my bff has her man at my house! But i feel like it isnt any different than me and her trying on each others cloths in front of each other or like being in a girls locker room showering! We are woman and it aint like u havent seen it before!

i personally have never done it in public where i am tho theres mother and baby rooms in town so alot easier and tbh i dont really want anyone seeing my boobs and i think my boyfriend would go mad which i understand lol.

I am pregnant now and have had a child before. And I did breast and bottle feed my daughter. But never did I breast feed in public! I can't stand it when people argue "Its a natural thing!" So is peeing but you don't see me doing it in front of everyone. And when you choose to do it out in public in front of my child I don't appreciate you deciding its time for me to have a discussion with my daughter about babies, feeding, body parts, appropriate displays and acceptable nudity. There is never a time you can't excuse yourself from a social setting to feed your baby in private.

im with ^lisaemerge ppl have made breast a sexual object when their not they are meant for breastfeeding. I breastfed my daughter for 15mths n loved it i never exposed my breast to anyone just bcz i didnt like to. Thats probaly why so many ppl dont wana do i BF anymore bcz their emberrased to do the most natural thing for all humans.  Honestly ppl are so sensitive abt it now a days thats y Bf has their own laws n protection

My boyfriend doesn't like me to do it but really it's a natural thing and I don't think there's anything wrong with it.  I know it ***** explaining it to children, but them seeing a breast feeding mother isn't going to scar them for life.  I just hate seeing  breast feeding mommas being shunned for their decision to provide their child the best

I'm nursing , my sons a month & I've never done it in public ! If we go out I pump a bottle & if were home then I stay in my room ... It wouldnt bother me seeing someone in public as long as there covered up lol

Okay yea that's just nasty. My cousin do it around her kids and don't cover up. I made her cover up when me and my daughter around first I don't wanna see your boob. Second I don't need my daughter staring then coming home and describing what she seen. One time I was at her house she was covered up but once she got done. She said here hold him me I'm like umm really he just got off your boob and you don't clean him up or nothing once you wanna pass him to someone. We was at her sister daughters party the other day and when she was breastfeeding she covered up but did it in the living room where there's ppl. Me personally I think she should of went in the room and did it. Seeing her do it kinda gross me out about trying it this time. So I'm just gonna buy a breast pump and do it that way. Lol
