Breast pumps

Ok so what is better electric breast pumps or manual? I'm sure it's a personal preference but I'm doing my registry for my baby shower and not sure which would be better, even if I don't get one or end up not putting it on, I still plan on buying one.

I used the medela electric and it never hurt me or made my nipples sore like everyone said. Even when I had it as high as it would go! Lol

Thank you! That helps a lot, I was hoping someone who tried both would comment, I think I'm going to go with electric

I had a manual with my first baba, boy I wish I had an electric one. My arms hurt really bad after 5 minutes, and it was tiring, especially in the beginning when all you do is feed and pump. Now I got an avent single electric,  and it memorises the tempo thats best for you. Btw, it isn't going to tear your nipple off, its as gentle as the manual one :) its up to you,  I expressed the leftovers after every single feed, and the electric was more convenient,  but if you don't plan using it that often a manual one should do the job.

I would think electrics would hurt ? With manuals you can pick your pace and how hard its being pumped ? I personally like manuals lol
