Ask your health care for a lactation consultant. Contact La Leche League. Join a support group. Ask for help. Breast feeding is a learned skill that can take months to get right. Don't be discouraged.
You can also try putting warm rags on your breast before feedings to help with the letdown system.
It will hurt for a week or so. I would get some nipple cdeam. And how long have you been feeding? If you just started it can take a few days for your milk supply to kick in. And yes stress can lower your supply. If youre stressed baby can feel you are and may not eat as well as normal. Stay away from chacolate..tea..coffee..and soda. It can lower your production. Find a quiet relaxed place to feed. Also pump after each feeding..it can help produce more. Good luck!!!!!
She latches on great but its like im not producing enough milk and so shes latched on for a good 45 minutes to an hour any time I try breastfeeding her.
I dont know about the first question but nipples shouldnt be hurting so bad? Have you got a proper latch? You can watch videos on youtube or get someone to come to you so they can teach you. Try some nipple cream to help the soreness and dont give up . You both have to learn . It will get better
Also how long till your nipples didnt hurt anymore from your baby breastfeeding cuz I just want to cry everytime she latches on.
