Brown Discharge

Hi everyone - I gave birth to my son 3 1/2 months ago, and I had one period that started in April, but it was two weeks late (I thought I was pregnant, but HPT and Blood test came back negative, it was just late). Now, I was supposed to start May 7th (yesterday), but I started getting brown discharge on May 6th, and still have a little bit of it in my pad & when I wipe. I was wondering is it normal to have irregular periods after you give birth even though it has been almost 4 months since? I never really had normal periods. I am just getting very stressed since my period was two weeks late the first time, and now I was supposed to start yesterday, yet its brown discharge. I haven't had any cramping or even ovulated because usually I will get cramps with that, but even with the last period I never ovulated & had cramping until a couple days before my period came. If anybody has any advice, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Thanks for replying back. I really can't say if I am pregnant or not, but I have not had unprotected sex - so you would think I am not. It just really stresses me out because I like to be on top of everything ahead of time, Lol.

My periods became very irregular after my 2nd child. It was so bad, I'd start thinking I was pregnant even though I hadn't had sex in mos lol. It could be that you're gna have irregular periods or your body is still just recovering and not fully "on track" but stress can delay it too
