Buying baby items

So when is the best time 2 start buying baby items? Im 23wks & 1day due March 6.......Im a ftm so what are some MUST items bsides clothes & diapers? Nd wuld yhu buy newborn or  start with 0 - 3 months?

Receiving blankets!!! I never realized until after my first was born that I would use them so often! Lol lesson learned, I'm 29 weeks pregnant with my second and i have already stocked up, also laundry detergent for baby

I started buying at 12 weeks...sizes 0-3, 3-6 and 6-9....was able to get a ton on same especially during July 4th and Labor Day. :)  But i want getting a shower...if you are, maybe wait.

Im still very early so i havent bought anything yet but ive been looking online at prices and trying to decide brands that i want to go with my husband and i are staying with his parents for now and there isnt much room to store things after i buy them but im praying that we will be able to get our own place before the baby gets here and ill be able to set up a proper nursery

I just bought few clothes at 22wks... But we r not buying anything big until 30+ wks... We hve checked prices of things here n there but not getting thm...

Haha also, if you are in an area where you have a kmart, you can layaway things after Christmas, like bigger items such as cribs, swings, clothes, bottles, and everything, and make a payment every 2 weeks until your baby is born. That's what I plan on doing.

I wouldn't buy much until your shower. I bought one outfit the day I found out the sex and that's all I had to buy everything else I received at the shower

@Acline93 I also wnt to breastfeed but still not sure & I am considering doin a layaway for xmas with alot of onesies bc he will b here n March prolly wont do a lot of goin out n the cold lol, outfits, bottles, socks, & otha bby items. I b temptd 2 buy shoes 2 but uma wait but they are so cute : )

@Simmons9211 thank yhu for the advice I already hve a stroller & carseat, & basinett I dnt wnt a crib but I mite end up getn one lol. I thnk uma start buying stuff slowly afta thanksgiving nd hopefully hve a bbyshowa n Jan.

Haha yeah girl, but everytime I would go out shopping with friends, they would insist that I get something. So an outfit here and there adds up. I have about 10 onesies, and about 12 separate outfits, and a bunch of socks, bottles, and pacifiers. In the next few months, I'm really going to focus on diapers, since I'm planning on  strictly breastfeeding.

im 29+1 and ive been slowly buying stuff. I also had a baby shower when i was 25 weeks (i didnt want to fly when i was in my 3rd trimester), so i got some stuff then too. My other baby shower where i live is this saturday. But right now i have the pack n play that we are using as a crib for a while, car seat, receiving blankets, regular blankets, some clothes, few packs of diapers, laundry soap, baby monitor, mattress for the pack n play cus they are hard, stroller, rocker and ottoman, and a bunch of other random stuff like teethers and soaps and toys. Alot of these thing were gifts from my first shower and early gifts for my one saturday. But buy stuff whenever you want! I think that buying everything slowly helps with the cost part, but also id wait till after your baby shower to buy stuff like clothes and blankets. those are very common baby shower gifts.

I still haven't started and tomorrow I'm 29 weeks and going to start when I am about 31 to 35 weeks xx

I've been buying 0-3 months and I'm 15 weeks, just because women in my family typically have bigger babies.
