CAMERON IS HERE!!!!!!
I went to the doctor on Wednesday as plan. i was gettin contractions, when she checked me i was 4 cm and my bag was ready to rupture. i was taken to the hospital. on my way my contractions were like 5 mins apart. when i got the hospital about 8 or so and was on the monitor. there were still the same for a while. i was havin some huge huge contractions which i aint felt at all. the nurse kept askin me do u feel them. i was like no. my doctor broke my water at 12 am. i started feelin little pain. i ask for the epidural in case somethin was to go wrong. when i go to 8 cm, i was given given pitocin to regulate my contractions. i was so loopy and out of it from the epidural. i was seein doubles, everything looked different, i could sleep for a while and started vomitin.
around 5:30 5:45 it was time to push. i was pushin and pushin and still no Cameron. the doctor push her hand in me to try get him out but no sucess. we tried and tried. i was pushin and in pain. she got the vacum ready. his heartbeat started droppin, i didnt know wat to do. i was loopy and druged up. she said 3 more trys then am heading to the OR for a C-section. i began pushin again. lo and behold with the help of the vacum Cameron came busting through my vagina in full force with out control. lol his cord was around his neck. i knew somethin wasnt right since the wk before but i never knew wat is was. he is ok and didnt have any problems breathin. he cried as soon as he came out.
he was born at 6:35 am weighing 6lbs 14 ozs. his delivery was quick cause my water was rupture after 12 am and i had him in like 6 hrs. i had to get stitches since he riped me open. we are home and fine.

Congrats! Yeah!!! Now the real fun begins with having a precious new baby! I cant wait and look forward to my daughter arriving!
congrats.. I don't remember feeling loopy after my epidural.. they probably gave you something else...

i remember getting sick w/ my first when i had an epidural... congrats to you on your little man!!!!

Congratulation's! Sounds like a rough labor. I also had problems pushing w/ the epidural and had to have a vacuum/forceps assisted delivery - it sure is hard to push when you cant feel anything isnt it?
it had to be the epidural that made me sick. after i got it, i started buggin out. lol literally i was so so loopy. i vomitted all day thursday even in labor. i feel he gave me to much or i allergic to that med. i only had IV and some pictocin when i was 8cm to regulate things. i got a shot and things slowly went back to normal.
Ohh girl you had me so nervous , Congratulations Im still hanging in there over here and you son shares my sister birthday can wait to see pic , sounds like you had a damn good labor
a big CONGRADULATIONS to you and your DH! im hoping to become a mommy again within the next month hoping it happens on b-day (july 15th) since i should be ovualtiing on that day! enjoy being a new mommy and get some rest...cameron will need you to be rested and alert.......CONGRADULATIONS again!!
Congrats. I don't think the epidural made you loopy...it must have been something else they gave you. But since your tore it's a good thing you had the epi :) I'm glad everthing turned out well...now you can enjoy your beautiful new baby. Congrats again!

Did they give you demerol? It will make you loopy, they always say the epidural can make you vomit. I never did but i have always worried about that. Good Luck and enjoy your lil one.....

Well it was a safe drug that they gave me. I just meant that I felt "high" when they gave it to me but it made the pain go away! They wouldn't have given me something illegal! LOL! And they wouldn't have done it to you anyway. I was just really giggly and the room was spinning.
well i dont know wat type of medicine he gave me. am goin back to that hospital to get my medical records.lol i need to know wat happened. someone needs to explain. his father's name is Bruce O'Brien. thanks everyone
Congrats!!! I don't remember the epidural making me loopy (maybe they gave you something else in your IV? because they did give me a drug before my epidural and I felt like I was on [street] drugs). But I did vomit because of the meds! UGH!!!
