so i woke up this morning around 430 (its now 6am) and i cant fall back asleep i feel very crampy and pressure down there. im 37+2 weeks and due to be induced on the 17th. I go in for doctor appointment at 845. hoping its not labour as my husband wont be home for another week.

well contractions have slowed down i think still getting few about 20 min or more apart but then again ive been sitting down and not doing much for few hours but when i do get up and start moving around i notice them coming closer together

well i am having contractions and im 2 cm 60% thinned and baby is at -1 station. doctor told me to watch contractions and when they get 7 minutes apart to go into L&D

It sounds like it could be labor, although I have been having all of the same happening except my contractions will not get closer together.
I hope it is just early labor for you as your husband isn't home yet but if it is true labor there's not mu h you can do.

i will think im gonna go try and get dressed my mother in law should be here by 8 then ill go ahead and go into office so i can get put on monitor

true its 730 here and most the time there is a nurse in the office by 8 but they dont open till 830. also yesturday i was having a pink discharge just about all day.

If they get to 5 mins apart before your NST I'd go in earlier and get checked (I'm not sure of your time zone or what time it is there, if it's soon then I wouldn't worry about it). You don't want to have that baby at home!

i started timing cramping as i noticed my belly is getting tight with them and they are gettting painful now and they are about 7 or 8 minutes apart

Ohh that's good! I hope you can keep that baby in until your husband gets here! I know the feeling. I'm 38w2d and was having contractions a few days ago, almost got regular, and I have a scheduled c-section for next monday so I'm trying to keep it at that time since that's when everyone has planned on taking vacation time!

well i have an NST with doctor at 845 so ill be able to see if its really contractions or not

That's exactly how my labor started, my contractions were about every 20 minutes and they felt just like I cramps when I have to go to the bathroom, only it wasn't, I went back and forth about 5 times before I realized they were contractions, keep an eye on it, if it doesn't stop it's probably labor!
