With my first pregnancy I had nausea and throwing up for a total of 5-6 months. It was awful. My doctor prescribed me some phenergen (spelling) to rub in on my wrist. It helped me a lot. Unfortunately, it did make me more tired. After a week or so my body finally got use to it and I wasn't as tired. But I would definitely try ginger ale etc. First. Good luck. I'm pregnant with my 2nd child,  I'm 6 weeks and no nausea yet. Congratulations on yours! Hopefully the nausea clears up!
