Castor oil

Anyone know if castor oil works? I'm 38+2 days and tried it a few hours ago I took 3 spoonfuls. I had diarrhea of it not too bad. And now I just feel really really sick. I don't think it has worked for me but apparently it can bring labour on hours later?

Also it can cross the placenta and cause baby to have a bowel movement in utero. This can make baby extremely sick and even cause death if ingested. Not really much you can do now except maybe call your labor dept and admit what you've done

Doesn't work unless your baby is ready. Just causes the runs and bad contractions. But they won't do anything unless its your time. Good luck

I heard that it can cause severe dehydration because it causes diarrhea and vomiting. Also doctors strongly advise against taking it due to all the cons
