Changing luteal phase and pregnancy

I have been charting for awhile know and even though my day of ovulation went from being day 25 every month to day 17 (which is how I got pregnant with my son in 2010) I always had an 11 day luteal phase. After I had him and started charting again, my O day stayed day 17 or 18 with an 11 day luteal phase.

Well, in September I had an 18 day luteal phase and a triphasic chart; I though it was just a wacky cycle because I took 3 tests, all negative. Then October I had a 14 day luteal phase, fertile cm after ovulation and another triphasic chart! Needless to say, I am a little confused. EVERYTHING I have read and heard from doctors say that the follicular (1st half) part of cycle can change a lot but the luteal phase (2nd half) stays the same- only varying 1 to 2 days.

Also, I rarely get EWCM but have gotten a couple days each cycle the past 2 months. And the only time I've gotten a triphasic chart before was on my pregnancy chart in Dec. 2010. Why the suddenly longer luteal phase and triphasic charts? Anybody experience this or know what could cause it?

So you had a really long luteal phase, too, and finally just started your period a couple of days ago? Other than the late period was it a normal cycle for you? I'm just trying to figure out what is causing these long luteal phases (with triphasic bbt).

I had a similar month last month but have not received a positive result yet. My cycle even started a couple of days ago after increasing to 34 days instead of my usual 28.

I personally have no experience in this myself, but I know a few others who do. I hope you get some answers soon!!
