Circulation issues?

This is completely new to me but starting yesterday, I started having some circulation issues, like feeling alot of numbness, etc.. i havent had any swelling really this pregnancy yet and im 38 weeks 5 days today...    My feet did look a little puffy when i went to the bathroom a bit ago..  But earlier, my hand went so numb, i could not move it.... my dh says my circulation is actually good because when i start moving the limb, the numbness goes down almost instantly.. but i cant sleep, because seems like every which way, something is going numb..and because it is so new to me, i dont know if i should be concerned....

I know sleeping on your left side is best for circulation so I did that but when my left hip started to hurt, i switched sides (like i normally would for a bit) but that didnt last more than 10 minutes because my right arm went completely and still feels weird almost an hour later

I know yesterday my feet would go numb if i was sitting in bed for even a short period of time but would go back to being fine once i got up....

is this normal????  could it be indicating anything......

Im really glad im not the only one... its just weird because it just started.. I just saw my doctor too and blood pressure was fine, etc but I was like ahh..

After I got up last night, came on here, had a snack, drank a glass of water, I went back to bed and it seem to be okay, my right hand still got a little numb but not that bad.. it does correct its self the second i stand up

I do think ill keep monitoring it for now...  my right hand does look a bit more swollen than the left but its hardly noticable..

i get a lot of numbness in my left leg....it freaks me out all the time but i just change positions and it usually goes away....i brought this up to my doc and he said that it most likely is the baby's position that is causing it

I'm also experiencing the same thing. When I wake up I literally can't use my hands, It's impossible to make a fist it hurts so bad, I have to let it sit for about 5 minutes before my hands are useable again. I just had an appt. yesterday and my blood pressure was perfect so they weren't concerned. We have restricted blood flow when pregnant so depending on how you lay down, it will cause this rather quickly, I don't get this if I'm sitting up or standing it's only when I'm laying down. It's very annoying but will correct itself after the baby is born.

OMG i feel for you! my pregnancy was like this, fortunately it was after i went on matleave... i did swell right up in the end, my hands were so numb i couldnt use the computer very well (carpal tunnel) and my writing looked worse than it did in grade one! and yes sleeping was impossible... like the whole right half would be numb, so same thing switch sides and wake up shortly with the left half numb... turn over and repeat.... it actually got worse where the feeling in my fingers was completely gone... and the numbness in my hands and swelling in my feet/legs took a few weeks after delivery to return back to normal... the numbness in my hands could have been fixed with those carpal tunnel therapy gloves or wrist things but i was short on cash and didnt want to buy 2 gloves when it would return back to normal eventually... my Dr wasnt concerned... my BP was good... i remember in 1 week i gained around 10 lbs... thats how fast i filled up with fluid...

so anyway its the fluid pushing on the nerve that is making you numb, so just let your Dr know... and whatever advice he/she gives if any you should let me know... my Dr didnt give me any...
