Watch a video on it and read on it. You will not want it done after that.
We will be getting our son circumsized. We are doing it because his dad is I guess. I'm not to sure, but since day one with my first pregnancy we said if its a boy he will get circumsized. She ended up being a girl, so we didn't have to worry about it, but the second we heard that this one is a boy we already knew.
Im not getting my son circumcised. My husband agrees even though he is circumcised. Obviously if there are persistent problems with his natural penis then i will change it, or let him decide when he is old enough for it to matter.
ohhh and i have been with my man for 6years he is healthy and never had any infections because he was taught about hygene at a young age. I've had ten fold more infections then him.
I wont be circumsizing my son..my man is very particular about the cleaning of his penis so not all guys that arnt circumsized are useless at cleaning..I think its natural. how can god not accept his creation into heaven??? god gave me my child this way. why would I change it..its not hard to teach children to learn to clean properly. we teach them plz and thank you's and life values why cant we teach them about cleanliness. that's my personal opinion.
When it came to this decision, I asked my husband and my mil what they thought. I am the oldest out of 2 girls and My husband is the youngest out of 2 boys. We decided to get the procedure done for our son, because of medical reasons (stds & hygiene) aa well as we don't want him to feel any different from the other males in our family.
I got my first circumcised and will be circumcising this little man too.
Pros- cleaner, lower risks for UTIs, lower risks for infections, easy to clean, and very common so he won't be picked on in school
Cons- if born with hypospadias they need the foreskin to repair, some nerves are killed in the process making him not feel as much pleasure during sex but he will never know the difference unless he gets circumcised as an adult
My first was born with mild hypospadias. The started his circumcision and stopped half way through when they noticed his glandular hypospadias. They used his remaining foreskin to do his repair and now he is a perfectly normal looking boy with a minor scar.
Circumcision is a preference, not medically necessary. Doctors will say it is more cosmetic than anything. I know this for a fact, I had many urology appointments because of my son's birth defect (hypospadias). But it is true that they are less likely to get infections and UTIs if they are circumcised. Sorry for the long reply.
Yes please circumsize. It gets disgustingly nasty when they get older. I have seen one and all the junk and nastiness stuck in it literally made me puke. Its very unsanitary to not be...and hard to keep clean. Even if they have been taught to a lot of men dont take care of it. Women do not like it. You wouldnt. Very easy to contract std's. And if you are religious. In christian religion you can not get into heaven unless you are circumsized. Im also having my little boy in april...and have a family full of women(:
Im expecting a baby boy in 11 day's as well and I'm the only girl with 4 brothers and my mom said they're all circumcised. My son's father is as well and so will my son. I know one pro is being circumcised helps avoid infections. If a male isn't circumcised and he doesn't clean well around all that foreskin it can become infected and cause pain.
Most people have their boys circumcised. My sisters ex wasn't and he grew up with the nickname "penis" from all his male peers. I guess I just feel like I wouldn't want my son to be the talk of the locker room. Kids are mean!
