From what i no, the day you ovulate, determines when your cycle will start. Technically, if you are ovulating late in the cycle as you said, the average woman that does not have fertiltiy issues should have a 12-14 day L.Phase, so thats why you have a 35CD, if you ovulated on the 23, and got a period on day 28 you could not get preggo bcuz the L.Phase would b to short.
Im normally get my cycle every 28 days. But this month i ovulated 3 days late, and im sure my cycle will be delayed 2-3 days so that i still have a 12 day L.Phase.
So by taking clomid, it just may shorten your cylce from 32 to 28(think of it like this, your cycle should start 12-14 days after you ovulate)
Im actually going in to see my dr monday to take clomid for the next 2 cycles and see how it goes.
Thanks for the info. I would LOVE to have shorter cycles, as that is more opportunity for pregnancy than I have currently. I hope clomid is the answer for me and DH.
I agree with brown eyed girl,i also took it even though i ovulated, depending what day your doc puts you on it,then you o within 9 days of taking the last pill,so it should make your cycle a little earlyiar.either why i would recomend clomid to anyone that asks..
I also took clomid and I would o without it but it helps also to produce better quality eggs but it didn't shorten my cycles
