Did I ovulate?? (Taking Clomid)!!

I was diagnosed with PCOS by my RE about a month ago..sooo she prescribed me with 50mg Clomid from day 3-7...anyways I always have AF every month but they are just irregular...I finished my clomid on the 8th and was expected to ovulate between the 13th and the 18th...sooo I was using OPK's and didnt test for 3 of the days...Im wondering if I could have missed my LH surge??...on one of those days I felt like a quick sharp pain in my right ovary...for like 2 mins it did that...and when I go to the bathroom i saw a lil spot of blood...like super small...soo I test today with the OPK it came back negative!!...I really dont understand how they work...I was also having lower back pains...Also i want to know who used clomid and got a success story??...My RE said my hormones were slightly off...not too bad and no cysts...and I always have AF every month so do you think I have a good chance at conceiving on clomid??

Im not tryna be rude but I just want an answer based on my question...i have used opks and i dont really understand them and my RE wants me to do 2 months on clomid on my own then if no pregnancy then she will look deeper into it...also my hormones are slightly off....i get AF flow ever month but just different cycle lengths...I just want my question answered!!

Your RE is supposed to monitor you while taking Clomid. They are supposed to test your progesterone to see if you ovulated and/or do a sonogram. If they are not monitoring you while taking fertility medications you need to find a new RE.

Get 100mg and havd your Dr give u ultra sounds to monitor the growth.. Take it days 1-5 it gives you a kick start of better results.

Then once your folicles are 14cm they will give you the hcg trigger shot to induce ovulation within 24-48 hours later!! Demand this!

You must use OPK every single day from after you finish Clomid until you get a positive otherwise you will miss your LH surge. Make sure you follow the direction on the packaging. When it tests positive than you will want to BD sooner rather than later as OPK gives you 12-24 hours notice of ovulation and you will want sperm to be waiting for the egg.
