i need advice

How big will a doctor let my baby get before inducing me or will they let me to to 40 weeks and have a c section? I really don't want a c section, so I would like to be induced early if possible.

I wouldn't worry.. that wasn't an exact number, it is s guess so really could be off by a pound. I'm sure they will do something for you if you start measuring too big when your close to your due date. I think most drs will induce after 39 weeks but depends on the dr. I've been induced twice, but I'm going to avoid it this time.. makes everything harder and longer.

My baby was 5 lbs 4 oz at 33 weeks and 4 days. I'm worried she will be over 9 lbs by the time I'm 39 or 40 weeks

Also it is very rare to not be able to deliver a baby bc of size. Now if you were say 4'10 like I am trying to deliver what is actually considered a 'big' baby which is 9lb14oz or bigger then yea might get a bit difficult. My aunt who is 5' and quit petit gave birth to 4 babies all over 8 and a half lbs.

Sometimes you can wait up to 2 weeks past your due date as long as baby is doing well. Just because you go to 40 weeks doesn't mean you need a c section.
