Contractions or not???

I am due on June 18th a week from today and I think the baby will be coming soon! All day today I been having this uncomftorble but at the same time painful feeling below my stomach.
I am not sure if they are contractions. I have them like every 5 minutes or so. Also all day today I been having
a clear discharge with a little red on it I don't know what that could mean. ANy suggestions or answers? I won't be seeing the doctor until tomorrow but it wont be my doctor since she was put on bed rest due to complications with her pregnancy which I did not know until today.

He is here!!!! My baby boy was born June 12th at 11:40 AM. He weights 6lbs and 12ozs his lenght 19 inches

So, are you dialated?????  If you are probably going to go into labor tonight, why didn't they just keep you and have you go to the hospital???

Yes the baby is ready to come I went to the doctor today and he said I should be in labor tonight....wish me luck!!! Contractions are horrible I am in pain can't imagine the rest

Well I took the bath and didn't work I was still getting the pains while bathing so I am going to the hospital to see what is going on.

Thats it then.... Try the bath and if it dont do the job then CONGRATS!!! And get to the hospital. They can help you with the pain! hehe.... Good Luck to you and hope to hear you have left and have not come back by morning! COME ON BABY!!!

Yeah I believe they are consistant. Take my breath away I believe so I have to take deep breaths and if I am walking I have to stop until they are gone. I'll try the bath right now lol because I can't take anymore the pain. It's funny because just today I was at the hospital for the maternity tour so I might end up there tonight or tomorrow. But if they continue I will defenitly go to the hospital.

I have to agree with adawning. The blood is probably your bloody show. Also contractions that are strong enough will take your breath away... Best of Luck and keep us posted.

Are they consistant? Do they take your breath away or can you talk and walk while having them? The bleeding is most likely your bloody show. Not all women have them nor do they all notice it?  Try taking a warm bath and see if they go away. If not and they are every 5 minutes then it may be time to go to L&D!!!!! Sorry about your Doctor....
