Cough won't go away help please.

So 3 weeks ago I ended up with strep. Someone at work had it and didn't say a thing. Now that is gone but since then I have this horrible cough that won't go away. It is driving me nuts. It makes my head hurt,makes my stomach cramp and I am sick of peeing my self every time the coughing fit hits me. Anyone know what can help me and that is safe to take while pregnant. In my third trimester It is driving me insane. Please help.

Robitussin dm, chloraseptic spray, and lots of hot beverages, like hot tea. Unfortunately thats really all thats on my 'approved' list.

Unfortunately....NOTHING!! Sadly they don't give us much of anything besides tylenol. It's like they sware it "cures" everything. Rest is your best option. You could use cough drops but supposedly we can't use that either. Something about the oil in them possibly causing pneumonia when you have a slight cold when prego. Just use them sparingly.
