got first vaginal ultrasound today

i got my first ultrasound today i was a little upset because well at first i  thought i was 10 weeks pregnant by now since the last period i got was the 19 of june and so far i had 2 missed periods counting from there i though that was how far i was anyway when i went today for my ultrasound i was showend only an embryo sac i think that s what it was u could only see a black little shadow but no heart beat at all so i got upset they told that from what they could see i was only 5 weeks but from what i heard about that time yhe babys heart should be beating already so i dint know :( im goin back next week and see hoping to see improvement.

Hopefully you ovulated late and just arent as far along as you thought you were. 5 weeks is too early to see a heartbeat so dont worry about that. Your next ultrasound should give you more information.

5 weeks is usually too early to see heartbeat. By 6 or 7 weeks you should be able to. Don't fret it's still early.

its too early to hear the baby heart beat at 5 weeks of pregnancy so it normal, dont worry next time you can hear the heart beat of the baby . Good luck keep me posting.
