Could I be pregnant?

I have been on Loestrin 24 FE birth control for about 8 months. Since I have been on the pill, I have had monthly 3 day periods that are relatively light.  I try and take the pills at the same time every night, but there are some times when I forget and either take the pill a couple of hours later or the next day.  This past month my period was only about a day and a half long, if that.  It was so light that I could have probably worn a panty liner and gotten through my entire period wearing that.  I am worried I could be pregnant. My boyfriend doesn't use condoms, but he does pull out.  I find myself getting up either during the night or very early morning needing to urinate and I have been finding myself getting dizzy occasionally and having headaches. Before I started my period, I experienced normal mood changes, tender breasts, and cramping. That has all gone away since I finished my period, except some occasional cramping after I eat a meal. Could I be pregnant?

Took a pregnancy test and it was negative....guess it was just a normal period for me.

When I talked to my doctor yesterday, she said that it is most likely my body is just now accepting the pill and that is going to be normal periods for me. But, because I had missed taking pills at the correct time last month that I needed to take a pregnancy test.

I was on Loestrin many years ago and went about 6 months with no period (didn't start back up until I stopped taking the pill).  So if you aren't pregnant, I'd just assume the pill is eliminating your cycles.

I would still take a test. Some women experience "implantation bleeding" in early pregnancy.

I already had my period. So, I'm not late I just had a very very light period and it only lasted about a day and a half. Still a possibility?

Sounds like a very definite possibility!

You can take a pregnancy test when your period is due. If you're already late, go ahead and take one tomorrow morning with your first-morning urine (FMU). Use First Response's line test (pink lines, not digital). It can pick up the lowest levels of HCG than any other test I know about.
