Could I be the father? 295 days

An ex-coworker (a nice girl) with whom I had sex with exactly 1 time (and haven't seen since), recently had a baby. When I heard the news I started doing some math. Luckily I know that exact date of the one night stand and the baby's date of birth. She gave birth 295 days after we had sex. Is that within the time frame of possibility. I definitely used a condom, and she says that the father is now out of denial...but I don't know...seems a little too close for comfort for me.

She gave birth 42 weeks and 1 day after you had sex. A normal length of pregnancy is considered to be 40 +/- 2 weeks from the first day of her last menstruation. Ovulation often takes place about 2 weeks after menstruation but that is highly variable between women and even between cycles. But if we suppose that she ovulated 2 weeks after menstruation then the pregnancy would be calculated as 44 weeks long if you were to be the father. I would say that it is improbable. It seems more likely that she fell pregnant in the following menstrual cycle. But you should just ask her. If she is sure that she menstruated at least once after you two had sex then you can hardly be the father.

I'd say its highly unlikely you are the father as with the dates you gave its highly likely she got pregnant a month after you slept together so no way you could be the father.

You also used a condom and I assume that you would have seen that it ripped or was not full at the end due to a hole.  Very unlikely you are the father with the comination of the dates and you used protection.
