Crinone 8%

Has anyone ever used Crinone 8% vaginal gel suppository?  I have used Prometrium (orally) in the past; however, my new OB would like me to try Crinone 8% being that it is absorbed directly where it is needed.  I am curious to know if any of you have had experience with it.  Are there any side effects?  Do you experience a discharge with it?  Is it messy?

Thank you so much for the reply.  I don't mind the TMI.  I am a nurse, I have seen and heard worse things (lol)!  I really want to know what to expect when I start to use it.  Thanks again.

I used prochieve, dont know if that is the same thing but it was an insertable gel.  I put it in at night and laid in bed right away so it wouldnt leak out.  I also wore a panty liner during the day for good measure.  It never really came out too much, BUT occassionaly it would come out in curd like chunks that were peach in color (TMI, really gross).  But you do what you have to do!  It worked for me!
The only side effects for me could also be due to pregnancy, so it is hard to determine what caused them.
